Affordable Housing Continues to Gain Momentum

President Ruto officially launched a 5,000-unit project in Kisumu as part of Kenya’s Affordable Housing Programme (AHP). Similar developments are underway in Nairobi and Nakuru. The government aims to deliver 250,000 units annually, with growing participation from private developers through partnerships with the State Department of Housing and the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC).
